Does Localy take a commission on sales?
No. Localy does not take a percentage of a business sale. Business plan costs cover access to Localy features, while the merchant continues to process customer purchases through its own point-of-sale or checkout system.
How is Localy different from third-party delivery marketplaces?
Localy focuses on timely, merchant-controlled offers that encourage an in-person customer visit. Marketplace rates and terms vary by provider, market, and pricing requirements, so businesses should review current provider terms when comparing costs.
Do I need to replace my POS?
No. Localy works alongside your current systems as an offer discovery and presentation layer. Localy activity is not a substitute for your POS transaction records.
What does Founding Business Access include?
Approved founding businesses receive 90 days of Founding Business Access free. No card is required, there is no automatic billing, and completed founders receive Free limits while follow-on plans remain Coming Soon.
Can I limit who receives an offer?
Current audience controls include all customers, people with no prior Localy activation at your business, and people with a prior Localy activation. These labels reflect Localy activity only, not a person's complete visit history.
What happens if inventory runs out or my plans change?
Pause the offer promptly or update its timing and terms so customers see current information. A save or activation does not reserve inventory.
Is customer reach guaranteed?
No. Visibility can depend on offer eligibility, status, timing, relevance, customer activity, communication preferences, plan rules, and Localy visibility standards.
How do I know whether an offer worked?
Review views, saves, activations, and new or returning Localy activity together. No individual metric guarantees a visit or sale.
